Aerostati Firenze is an association involved in flying a particular kind of aircraft: balloons. We have been flying since 1995 and we take part in several parades and competitions all over Italy. Our base is in the hills around Florence, an ideal place to fly off towards some of the most striking landscapes of Tuscany.

Ballooning, for us, is a passion and we sincerely wish to share this emotional experience with as many as possible. We take singles and groups on both free and tethered flight through the Tuscan skies where you can admire spectacular views of well-known natural beauty spots from unconventional perspectives, making the viewing of these panoramic landscapes even more remarkable.

Flying on our balloons offers the chance of a lifetime to enjoy the Florence of Dante, the Cupola by Brunelleschi and of course the beautiful Tuscan hills: Fiesole and Monte Morello to the north and to the south, the beginning of the Chianti region not forgetting the east, where you will observe the Arno river’s flow towards town.

Other beautiful tours take you to the famous leaning tower of Pisa and to Lucca whose perfectly preserved city walls still encircle the town and are amongst the oldest in Italy.

It is also possible to balloon towards Valdarno, crossing the same skies that inspired the renaissance artist Piero della Francesca and then head for Siena, flying over the towered San Gimignano and the vineyards of Chianti; not forgetting the extreme south of Tuscany with views of the medieval village of Volterra, that has conserved its Etruscan origins and the beautiful colours of Maremma.We believe that these breathtaking and spectacular trips are complemented by our accommodating and service-minded staff.
